Iron Man Groups are two or three men who make a promise to one another to meet regularly for fellowship, encouragement and accountability.
Why the small group size? First, the smaller the group the easier it is to find a convenient time to meet regularly. Second, a smaller group has a safer, more comfortable feel that prompts deeper, more meaningful exchanges. Men can and will share deeply with one another—revealing their true selves—when they are among trusted friends who do not judge. Men can be real….and honest….. in Iron Man Groups—connecting in ways they cannot in church on Sunday, or in a bible-study group, or having breakfast with other men of the church on a Saturday morning.
